The Aerial Arts festival Berlin is back, this year with its biggest ever edition, proudly sponsored by the Berlin Senate.
It will take place from the 23rd – 27th October 2019 in SEZ sportshalle by Landsberger Alle.
The Aerial Arts Festival is a coming together of professional and advanced hobbyist aerialists of all disciplines, wanting to develop the art form of aerial acrobatics.
The festival includes workshops from top international and Berlin-based practitioners, contemporary circus shows, round-table discussions, open stage nights and jamming sessions.
The Aerial Arts Festival Berlin is an international festival that serves both the circus scene with a networking opportunity, as well as the Berlin public, who still rarely get the chance to see the art form of contemporary circus, with a focus on aerial arts. Each year Verein zur Überwindung der Schwerkraft partners with different organisations and priorities to create an interface between education and professional practice, between gala artistry and contemporary circus, between national and international trends.
