From which part of our bodies does the voice come from?
In this workshop we will explore the virtuosity of our voice through the way of movement analysis and games, that will help relaxing and awakening the voice.
Understanding or experience in performance is not a necessary prerequisite for this course, but desire to speak and play with and before the group is expected in order for all to explore and learn together where the voice stops, starts and expresses.Voice and physical presence training for the story teller, performer, teacher, speaker, politician, singers and anyone who has interest in developing their voice awareness and physical presence.
Barbara Draeger is a voice teacher, theater artist, musician and clown. She has multiple degrees in pedagogical uses of the voice and is a professionally trained concert harpist. She has studied physical theater and performed and directed as international experienced artist. Most recently she has completed a 3 month intensive training in Italy teaching the theater curriculum and styles of
Giovanni Fussetti and before that a 3 year completion of his Jaques Lecoq inspired school. Her training approach impasses the voice by way of movement exercises, group games, and creating
the space for personal discovery.
Preferably comfortable black or dark clothes.
