Für das diesjährige bundesweite ZEIT FÜR ZIRKUS Festival vom 17. – 19. November 2023 werden zeitgenössische Zirkusproduktionen aller Formate gesucht! ZEIT FÜR ZIRKUS lebt vor allem davon, dass wir gemeinsam an diesem Wochenende den Zirkus in Deutschland in all seiner Vielfalt sichtbar machen!
Berlin ist dieses Jahr regionaler Fokus; das hat vor allem mit Förderbedingungen zu tun. Geplant ist daher ein von Jahr zu Jahr wandernder Regionalfokus. Inklusive Formate sowie Produktionen von Künstler*innen, die Diskriminierung erfahren, sind ausdrücklich erwünscht!

Seid Ihr offen für ungewöhnliche Orte und Uhrzeiten?
Ganz wichtig! Lasst uns bitte wissen, ob Ihr schon in Kontakt mit einer Spielstätte seid oder Spielstätten kennt, die offen für ZEIT FÜR ZIRKUS wären. Wenn ja, erzählt uns von den Orten, damit die Liste der potentiellen Partner noch größer wird.

OPEN CALL – ZEIT FÜR ZIRKUS Festival 2023!
For this year’s nationwide ZEIT FÜR ZIRKUS Festival, Nov 17 – 19, 2023, we are looking for contemporary circus productions of all formats! ZEIT FÜR ZIRKUS lives above all from the fact that we make circus in Germany visible in all its diversity during this weekend!
Berlin is the regional focus this year. This has mostly to do with funding conditions. The plan is to have a regional focus that moves from year to year. Inclusive formats as well as productions by artists who experience discrimination are explicitly welcome!
If you want to be part of the festival, send a short description including details about length, technical requirements and format of the piece (stage, outdoor, site-specific, participatory, etc.) and – if available – a video recording to: info@zeitfuerzirkus.de.
Are you open to unusual locations and times?
Very important! Please let us know if you are already in contact with a venue or know of venues that would be open to ZEIT FÜR ZIRKUS. If so, tell us about the venues so that the list of potential partners grows even larger.
